Soapmaking for Beginners Workshop 

Thursday April 29th 

Have fun learning how to make your own natural handmade soap using the traditional cold process method. 

This is a basic introductory hands on workshop in which you will learn: -what is the cold process method of soap making 

-the basic ingredients and tools needed 

-safety information on handling sodium hydroxide (lye) 

-learn to use natural herbs, clays and other additives to customize your soap -step by step hand on instruction to follow a basic soap recipe and make your very own batch of soap. 

INCLUDES: 

All soap making tools, ingredients and safety equipment will be provided Students will take home a print out of all instructions and topics covered in class along with a basic soap recipe to recreate at home. 

Students will make their own customized batch of soap to take home.
